Schedule / Job TypeContract (13 Weeks) | 36 Hours per Week Guaranteed | 12-Hour Variable Shifts (Evenings/Nights) | Shift range between 3PM–7AM, including 3PM–3AM and 7PM–7AM rotations | Every other weekend and every other holiday required
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in a Level II Trauma Emergency Room setting
- Work variable evening and overnight 12-hour shifts, demonstrating flexibility across assigned shift windows
- Accurately document all patient care activities and assessments using Epic EMR
- Perform and interpret 12-lead EKG and dysrhythmia monitoring
- Adhere to unit-specific protocols, safety standards, and infection control policies
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure quality patient outcomes
- Active RN license in Indiana or a Compact State
- Minimum 3 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
- Current AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, AHA PALS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Proficiency with Epic EMR within the last year
- Must successfully pass a 12-lead EKG and Dysrhythmia exam
- Ability to work flexible variable shifts including evenings and overnight rotations
- Experience in a Level II Trauma center environment
- Pediatric emergency nursing experience
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to change, work independently, and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Guaranteed hours per week in a high-acuity Level II Trauma Emergency Department with no on-call or float requirements
