Total Med RN is seeking a Travel RN for the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in Newburgh, IN. This travel assignment runs 8 weeks with 36 hours weekly, 12-hour night shifts. Ideal candidate has 1–2 years of recent acute care experience; ACLS/BLS and NIH certifications are expected.
PCU RNs monitor cardiac and other vitals, titrate medications, and respond to changes with prompt action. Also known as step-down or cardiac step-down care, this role involves fast-paced environments and patient observation.
