Accountant, Financial Reporting, Financial Analyst

A
ccountant to support critical accounting operations across payroll, cash management, and month-end close activities. This role plays a key part in ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across core financial processes while partnering closely with HR and Finance.

• Support weekly and semi-monthly U.S. payroll processing across multiple entities
• Maintain payroll data accuracy, respond to employee inquiries, and generate customized reports
• Account for fringe benefits, labor accruals, and severance-related activity
• Ensure compliance with payroll-related regulations and internal controls

• Assist with daily cash activity, including bank transactions and reconciliations
• Prepare and process wire payments and check runs
• Record cash-related journal entries and support month-end treasury close activities

• Assist with retirement plan reporting and audit requests
• Calculate and file non-income-based taxes (e.g., excise and local payroll-related taxes)
• Stay current on regulatory changes impacting payroll and cash processes

• Prepare journal entries related to overhead allocations, inventory adjustments, and fixed assets
• Support real estate and property tax accounting
• Assist with scrap, rework, and annual roll-forward entries
• Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
• 3+ years of experience in accounting, with 3+ years payroll and cash-related functions
• Working knowledge of payroll processes and general accounting principles
• Experience with payroll systems such as ADP, Ceridian
• Familiarity with ERP systems such as Oracle or SAP preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive information
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
