What You Bring to the Role

• Working knowledge of accounting theories, practices, and standard office procedures

• Ability to perform detailed numerical work accurately and efficiently

• Ability to understand and follow complex oral and written instructions

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prepare and maintain systematic financial records

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and other Office products

• Ability to work in an office environment and operate a computer and standard office equipment for extended periods

What You'll Take On

• Perform a variety of accounting tasks in accordance with accepted accounting principles and procedures
• Process accounts payable invoices, including verifying accuracy, assigning general ledger codes, and ensuring timely vendor payments
• Review vendor accounts to identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies
• Support accounts receivable functions, including recording deposits in the ERP system and issuing customer invoices
• Review customer account balances and resolve discrepancies as needed
• Complete bank reconciliations and other general ledger account reconciliations
• Maintain and track accounting records, schedules, and supporting documentation
• Assist with research and development tax credit activities
• Manage petty cash, cash advances, and expense report processing, including W-2 gas tracking for taxability
• Determine and apply proper purchase order (PO) account coding
• Support company budgeting processes, depreciation tracking, and lease system management
• Assist with quarterly and year-end audits
• Perform additional accounting and administrative duties as assigned
