Accountant in Accounting DepartmentType of Employment:

Riga, Latvia
Visa requirements: A valid work permit from the EU/EEA (relocation assistance is not provided)
What You'll Do- Perform vendor account reconciliation and analysis, resolving discrepancies and errors
- Participate in new process development and process improvement activities
- Process supplier invoices in Accounts payable module
- Perform periodical closing procedures
- Execute and document process controls related to financial compliance
- Perform other department's functions according to a manager's assignment
- Previous experience within accounting or finance
- Degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics or a student within this area
- Fluency in English to communicate with colleagues in Europe
- Previous experience with ERP (JDE experience will be considered as a plus)
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Precise, analytical, organized, solution oriented and stress resistant personality
- A self-motivated, positive mindset and the ability to work well as part of a team
