Our client is seeking a results-driven, hands-on Controller with a strong cost accounting and manufacturing background to join our fast-paced, growth-focused environment. This role is ideal for a seasoned finance leader who’s ready to roll up their sleeves, drive change, and build scalable financial infrastructure from the ground up.

About the Role:

As Controller, you’ll play a critical role in shaping and executing the financial strategy to support ongoing expansion. Reporting to the CFO, you’ll lead all accounting operations, ensure compliance with US GAAP, and establish the right policies and procedures to support sustainable growth. You’ll thrive here if you're comfortable working in a dynamic, entrepreneurial setting where "all hands on deck" includes you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead all aspects of accounting operations including GL, AR, AP, payroll, fixed assets, and inventory.
• Own and drive the cost accounting function—establish and monitor standard costs, analyze variances, and support margin optimization.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close and reporting processes.
• Build and implement policies, procedures, and internal controls to support growth and ensure financial accuracy.
• Provide clear, actionable insights through reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and ad hoc analysis.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to support strategic initiatives and business decisions.
• Serve as a key business partner to leadership, driving process improvement and financial discipline.
• Lead and mentor a growing finance team.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience, with at least 5 years in a Controller or senior accounting leadership role.
• Strong background in manufacturing environments and cost accounting is essential.
• Proven track record of implementing processes and controls in a high-growth, fast-paced setting.
• Hands-on approach with the ability to balance strategy and execution.
• ERP/MRP systems experience required; advanced Excel skills strongly preferred.
• CPA highly preferred;
  Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance a plus.
