Equipment Coordinator

Overview

This role is responsible for reviewing, analyzing, and capitalizing maintenance and project work orders in accordance with company policy and applicable accounting standards. It ensures that costs are properly classified between expense and capital, supports fixed asset accounting, and partners closely with the In-House Maintenance team to maintain accurate financial reporting.

• Analyze maintenance and project work orders to determine appropriate accounting treatment (capitalize vs. expense).
• Review equipment and components to ensure justification for capitalization and proper asset classification.
• Prepare journal entries with proper supporting evidence.
• Ensure adherence to company capitalization policies and accounting standards.
• Support internal and external audit requests related to capital expenditures and work order accounting.
• Prepare reports and schedules to support month‑end close activities.
• Reconcile miscellaneous general ledger accounts.

Pay: $17.00 – $29.50 hourly. The range represents the compensation for this role at this time of posting and may be modified in the future.
