Controller / Head of Finance (Growth-Focused)

World Truck Towing & Recovery is a well-established, owner‑led heavy‑duty towing and recovery company with strong, consistent year‑over‑year organic growth. We are seeking a powerful, hands‑on financial leader to own the accounting function and help guide the company through its next phase of expansion.

This role is ideal for a Controller, Senior Accountant, or Head of Finance who wants real authority, influence, and a clear path toward a CFO‑level role as the company continues to scale. The position combines hands‑on accounting leadership with forward‑looking financial strategy.

• Full‑cycle accounting and financial control
• Quick Books management (certified expertise required)
• Cash flow management and forecasting
• Job costing, margin analysis, and profitability reporting
• Payroll oversight, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
• Monthly, quarterly, and year‑end close
• Budgeting, forecasting, and growth planning
• Financial reporting and analysis directly to ownership
• Coordination with external CPA, tax advisors, and banking partners

• Proven experience as a Controller, Senior Accountant, or Head of Finance
• Experience in service‑based, fleet, construction, towing, or equipment‑heavy businesses
• Strong business judgment with attention to detail
• Comfortable being hands‑on while also thinking strategically
• Ability to work independently and partner directly with ownership

This is not a back‑office bookkeeping role. This position is a key leadership seat within the company. You will play a direct role in improving margins, strengthening cash flow, and ensuring that growth is profitable and controlled.
