Location: Uniontown

Securitas Technology seeks a Payroll Specialist to ensure accurate, timely payroll for a multi-state workforce in a technology-driven security organization. You will process bi-weekly payroll, validate time and attendance data, maintain employee records, and reconcile deductions while upholding strict compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Partnering with HR, Finance, and operations, you'll resolve payroll inquiries, support audits, and generate reports that improve accuracy and efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Process accurate, timely multi-state payroll for hourly and salaried employees in accordance with company policies and regulations.
  • Validate and reconcile time and attendance data, earnings, deductions, and adjustments each payroll cycle.
  • Maintain confidential employee payroll records, tax elections, and direct deposit information with high data integrity.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local wage, tax, and garnishment regulations and company controls.
  • Research, troubleshoot, and resolve payroll discrepancies and employee inquiries in a professional, customer-focused manner.
  • Prepare payroll reports and support Finance with reconciliations and general ledger interfaces.
  • Assist with internal and external payroll, tax, and SOX audits by providing documentation and analysis.
  • Collaborate with HR, Finance, and operations teams to support process improvements and system enhancements.
  • Support implementation or optimization of payroll and HRIS tools to increase automation and accuracy.
  • Contribute to a culture of safety, integrity, and continuous improvement aligned with Securitas Technology's mission.
