We are looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join a food and food processing organization in Upper Sandusky, Ohio on a Contract basis. This fully onsite opportunity supports a busy accounts payable team handling high invoice volume and routine payment activities. The role is ideal for someone who is highly accurate, organized, and comfortable working within established financial procedures while helping maintain timely vendor payments.

Responsibilities:

• Review incoming invoices for accuracy, coding, and required support before entering them into the accounting system.
• Match invoices to purchase orders and receiving records to ensure proper three-way verification.
• Process standard accounts payable transactions for assigned facilities while maintaining strong attention to detail.
• Assist with weekly payment runs by preparing items for approval and confirming payment information is complete.
• Maintain organized records of payable documents and resolve routine discrepancies with internal teams or vendors.
• Support the accounts payable team by taking on core processing tasks that allow senior staff to focus on specialized work.
• Use Sage X3 to enter, track, and update invoice and payment data in a timely manner.
• Contribute to evolving department workflows as new accounts payable tools and processes are introduced.
