About Human Potential Consultants (HPC)

Human Potential Consultants (HPC) supports government and community-based operations by providing reliable, professional teams who take pride in their work.

We treat our team like people — not numbers. We believe the best work happens when expectations are clear, communication is open, and support is real. At the same time, we operate with accountability. Showing up on time, communicating when something comes up, and following through on what’s expected are foundational here.

If you value structure, professionalism, and being part of a team that cares, this may be a strong fit.

About the Role

This role supports federal programs within a structured government environment by providing front‑desk service, administrative support, and accurate data entry.

This is not just “office work.” It’s a position that requires professionalism, attention to detail, and the ability to handle information carefully. You will support customers and stakeholders in a respectful, service‑oriented environment while maintaining accurate documentation and dependable administrative operations.

What You’ll Be Responsible For
  • Provide professional front‑desk support, including screening calls, greeting visitors, and routing inquiries.
  • Prepare, review, and proofread routine correspondence, reports, and administrative communications.
  • Use office software and databases to create, manage, and report information, including entering and maintaining program data in required systems.
  • Maintain calendars, track suspense items, and flag scheduling or deadline conflicts.
  • Manage electronic and physical records in compliance with applicable policies; serve as Records Custodian when assigned.
  • Prepare time and attendance records, coordinate office supplies, and support administrative operations.
  • Assist with training materials, basic system troubleshooting, and handling of sensitive information in accordance with security requirements.
What Matters Most in This Role

At HPC, the people who succeed in this kind of role are:

  • Reliable (on time, consistent, dependable)
  • Accurate (careful with data, documentation, and details)
  • Professional (courteous, respectful, calm under pressure)
  • Communicative (speaks up early, asks questions, doesn’t go silent)
  • Discreet (handles sensitive information appropriately)

This is a structured environment. You will be supported — and you will be expected to follow the process.

Requirements
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Office applications, with experience creating, formatting, editing, and maintaining documents, spreadsheets, and electronic records.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and data accuracy, with at least 2 years of experience performing administrative, clerical, or data entry functions (or equivalent education/training).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to provide professional, courteous customer service to a diverse population.
  • Ability to handle sensitive, confidential, and personally identifiable information with discretion and in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Willingness and ability to learn program‑specific systems and requirements as needed.
  • Ability to pass a background check and meet access requirements for a government worksite.
Please Read Carefully

HPC roles require professionalism and follow‑through.

We will ask candidates to complete multiple steps as part of our hiring process. This is intentional. It helps us confirm reliability, communication, and seriousness before moving into final interviews and onboarding.

Candidates who do not complete required steps or do not follow instructions will not move forward.

What We Offer
  • A professional, structured work environment
  • Clear expectations and supportive leadership
  • Consistent schedule (weekday business hours)
  • Opportunities to support meaningful government programs and serve others through your work
  • Pay range of $17–$26/hour based on qualifications and role requirements
