Technical Assistant - Floater (Full Time-40 Hours)
Are you detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and passionate about providing excellent support to a dynamic team? We're looking for a Technical Assistant - Floater to join our library system!
About the RoleAs an essential part of our library administration, you will perform a variety of clerical and administrative tasks to support our departments. Your duties may include collection maintenance and processing, ordering supplies, assisting with circulation and ILS records, maintaining files, and processing reports.
Examples of What You’ll Do- Assist in administrative, community engagement efforts, collection services, facilities, and fiscal office duties.
- Manage general clerical duties such as filing, recording statistics, and ordering supplies.
- Perform word processing, spreadsheet, and database functions for various departments.
- Sort, distribute, and process mail, including using postage software.
- Build and/or maintain knowledge of our integrated library system (ILS) for circulation-related duties.
- High school diploma or G.E.D. required. Associate degree preferred. One year of relevant experience preferred.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with a team.
- Problem-solving mindset with a customer service focus.
- Reliable transportation to travel to other branches or locations as needed.
