We offer an exciting apprenticeship for aspiring office management assistants. As part of our team, you will learn to handle office and administrative tasks using computers and industry-specific software. In particular, you will gain skills in organising and managing office processes, communicating with customers and business partners, and creating and maintaining documents and databases.
- General office organization and administration.
- Creating and maintaining files and databases.
- Communicating with customers and business partners by email and phone.
- Gaining knowledge in accounting, human resources, order processing, marketing, and project management.
- Preparing invoices.
- No specific prior education is required; a secondary school certificate is desirable.
- Strong communication skills for dealing with customers and colleagues.
- Good organisational skills for managing documents and appointments.
- Motivated and committed, showing interest in commercial tasks, and eager to learn.
- Basic knowledge of office software such as Microsoft Office.
- Enjoy working in a team.

Apprenticeship at a Glance
Office Management Assistant- Duration of training: three years (shortening possible with appropriate performance).
- Assignment in the order processing department at ABH‑Nord GmbH.
- Vocational school in part‑time format (once or twice per week) or block instruction.
- Subjects include business administration, accounting, office organisation and communication, information processing, and social studies.
Office management assistants carry out organisational and commercial administrative tasks. They handle correspondence, prepare presentations, procure office supplies, schedule and monitor appointments, organise meetings, support staff deployment planning and purchase external services. They also assist customers, are involved in order processing, prepare invoices, and monitor incoming payments.
