Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Crucial Link is hiring an Office Assistant for a company in Newburgh Heights, Ohio (44105). This is a full-time temp-to-hire opportunity for someone who is organized, professional, and ready to get started quickly. The company is looking to bring someone in and train them for long-term success.

Position Overview

The Office Assistant will help support daily office operations by communicating with customers and vendors, processing orders, tracking order status, assisting with costs, and handling light accounting duties. This role is a strong fit for someone who is detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Communicate with customers and vendors on a daily basis
  • Take customer orders by phone and email
  • Place orders with vendors via email

    Keep customers updated on the status of their orders
  • Communicate with the Production team to check order status in the plant
  • Assist with researching and tracking product costs
  • Perform light accounting and general office support duties
  • Maintain accurate records and organized documentation
  • Support daily administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications
  • Previous office, administrative, customer service, or order entry experience preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Comfortable interacting with customers, vendors, and internal teams
  • Good organizational skills and strong attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy office environment
  • Basic computer skills, including email and data entry
  • Light accounting experience is a plus
  • Dependable and able to learn quickly
Schedule
  • Monday through Friday
  • 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Pay
  • $18.00–$20.00 per hour
  • Based on experience, skills, and abilities
