The full performance level class works under general supervision & requires considerable knowledge of clerical and secretarial procedures; administrative support procedures; office processes, procedures and policies to perform routine and non-routine administrative support activities.

Monday - Friday; 8:30am - 5:00pm Posted until filled.
Answers telephones including directing calls and visitors, taking messages and providing routine information; answers inquiries; greets general public visiting offices; processes incoming and outgoing mail, emails and various correspondence; distributes visitor guides and event calendars; maintains designated office areas; tracks inventory and restocks promotional materials and printers; event research and support; calendar management;
Keeps deliveries and workflow organized and on time; assembles sales kits and welcome packets; prepares weekly deliveries to hotels and community partners; cuts and assembles signs; assists in special projects; prepares booth set up and convention materials; assists with physical event preparation, including loading materials for deliveries, setting up booths, supporting on-site convention and event setups and breakdowns and unloading materials;
photo and video asset management; event attendance and economic impact tracking. Conducts tourism-based research in order to collect articles related to the department, hospitality industry & economic development; social media content research and support; performs routine data entry; updates the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database system; creates basic charts, forms and inter office communications such as weekly and monthly calendars, reminders, etc.;
contacts chambers and stakeholders to keep information up to date and relevant; updates the website calendar. Performs miscellaneous duties to facilitate operational efficiencies (making copies, printing name badges, pulling files etc.); receives and verifies deliveries for accuracy and completeness; supports team in the field with deliveries, booth shifts and interoffice pickup. Performs others duties of a similar nature or level as assigned.
High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (G.E.D.); 24 mos. experience in office practices and processes; valid Ohio Driver's License.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
Predictable and regular attendance is required. Stooping, crouching, reaching, repetitive motion. Exert up to 25 lbs. of force on a daily basis to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
