The Automotive Technician is responsible for diagnosing and repairing customer vehicles efficiently and accurately, adhering to MAP guidelines and Boyd's Tire standards.

$25–$40 per hour, depending on experience.

• Diagnose vehicles according to the appropriate level of certifications/experience.
• Perform work as outlined on the multi‑point inspection and/or repair order with efficiency and accuracy.
• Explain technical diagnosis and needed repairs to non‑mechanical individuals (Store Manager, Service Consultants, customers).
• Recommend services necessary to keep the customer's vehicle in running condition; properly document all recommendations in customer file.
• Follow all safety procedures and report concerns to the Shop Foreman or Store Manager.
• Maintain appropriate ASE certifications and renew expiring certifications.

• Prefer a minimum of one unexpired ASE or equivalent experience/training (3+ years of senior level experience).
• Possess valid driver's license and clear MVR screening.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to work a minimum of five days, including Saturdays.
