As a future leader of Midas, the Assistant Manager supports the Store Manager to ensure each Midas retail location operates efficiently, safely and effectively. Assistant Managers enforce established policies, procedures and standards, schedule mechanic/technician work, manage outside orders, ensure the quality and timely completion of jobs, meet customer expectations, and maintain safety for team members.
About the Position of Service ManagerThe Service Manager assists customers with tire selections and recommends necessary under‑car repair services. They direct the workflow of mechanics, alignment technicians, and tire technicians, stage vehicle repair/maintenance work, and drive Midas’s sales initiatives. The Service Manager also communicates directly with customers, assesses customer needs, provides information regarding requested or necessary automotive repairs, ensures customers are satisfied with their in‑store experience, and strives to meet customer expectations.
WhatWe're Looking For
- Experience:
At least 2 years of experience or training in automotive parts and/or tire sales, or a relevant combination of education, training and experience. - Requirements:
Must be at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the U.S. - Physical Ability:
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift or move items weighing over 50 pounds. - Mindset:
You value dependability, teamwork, and providing quality service in a fast‑paced environment.
