Lube Technician

Location: Millersburg

Mancan is working with a company in Millersburg looking for lube technicians. This is a temp to hire position for the right candidate based upon attitude, attendance, and performance. Hours are Monday-Friday 8 am - 5 pm. Must be available to work one Monday 8 am-8 pm and one Saturday 8 am-noon shift per month. Pay is based on experience, $15-$18/hour.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform oil changes and replace oil filters on a variety of vehicles.
• Lubricate moving parts.
• Inspect fluid levels and top off as necessary (e.g., transmission fluid, power steering fluid, brake fluid, windshield washer fluid).
• Inspect and replace air filters, cabin filters, and fuel filters.
• Check and replace vehicle lights and windshield wipers.
• Perform battery tests and replace batteries as needed.
• Conduct multi-point inspections to identify potential issues.
• Document and report findings to the service advisor or customer.

Requirements:

• Prior experience as a lube technician or in a similar role required.
• Basic understanding of automotive maintenance and repair procedures.
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
• Good communication skills and ability to interact with customers and team members effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to perform tasks accurately and efficiently.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, and work in various positions for extended periods.
• Manual dexterity and ability to use tools and equipment effectively.
