Role Description
Wellster is the leading European Health Tech platform, and we are currently at the forefront of one of the most explosive growth stories in healthcare: the Direct-to-Patient (DTP) revolution.
We are looking for a Commercial Development Manager to spearhead the international expansion of our flagship brand, GoLighter, within the hyper-growth GLP-1 weight-loss market. This isn't just a strategy role—it’s a seat in the cockpit of a company that is fundamentally changing how patients access life‑changing treatments across Europe.
At Wellster, we value intellectual curiosity, grit, and a bias for action. While a strong academic foundation is important, we prioritize your ability to deliver results and think like an entrepreneur in a fast‑paced scale‑up environment.
Your tasks would be...- Conduct deep‑dive market assessments, including regulatory landscapes, competitive positioning, and healthcare infrastructure in target countries
- Build and refine a repeatable "Country Launch Playbook" that covers localization, legal compliance, and local supply chain integration
- Own the commercial strategy and business case for new markets, including pricing, reimbursement analysis, and identifying growth levers
- Act as the central hub aligning Product, Operations, Marketing, and Legal to ensure timely and successful market launches
- Monitor and optimize commercial performance post‑launch, focusing on unit economics such as LTV/CAC and contribution margins
- Lead strategic projects like testing new business models or establishing long‑term value‑driving partnerships for Go Lighter
- Bring 3+ years of experience in Strategy Consulting, Venture Development, or Strategic Growth, with a proven track record in international expansion
- Think in systems and frameworks, building scalable playbooks rather than one‑off solutions
- Possess Tier 1 analytical skills, able to model unit economics and translate data into board‑level strategies
- Operate with commercial maturity and a growth‑owner mindset, balancing speed with sustainability
- Thrives in ambiguity and have entrepreneurial experience proving your ability to deliver without a manual
- Are fluent in English and German;
French proficiency is a strong plus - Hold a strong academic degree in Business, Economics, or a related field from a top‑tier university
