Position Summary:The comprehensive management of all suppliers in North America to cover supplier cost reduction management, capacity guarantee, resource integration, delivery support, quality issue resolution, strategic cooperation promotion, and contract & compliance management. Ensure the efficient operation of the supply chain by guaranteeing on‑time material availability, meeting site production requirements, and optimizing costs through strong management of suppliers.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee the procurement functions for various commodities in North America to ensure the orderly coordination of procurement operations.
- Develop procurement negotiation strategies to safeguard operational continuity and achieve cost savings.
- Identify and onboard new suppliers and conduct technical and quality assessments.
- Negotiate with suppliers in North America to ensure that quality, price, and service meet the required standards in cooperation.
- Maintain regular communication with factories to ensure delivery performance and service levels.
- Analyze the current state of the supply chain to identify opportunities for process optimization and operational efficiency improvement.
- Monitor key performance indicators (such as On‑Time Delivery (OTD), Parts Per Million (PPM), cost savings, etc.).
- Lead and develop the supply chain team, promote team collaboration, and foster a work culture of continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, International Business, Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 5‑7 years of experience in Supply Chain.
- Strong skills in negotiation with suppliers and customers at an international level.
- Deep knowledge in cost structure for products.
- Proven experiences where new sourcing/aggressive price reductions were involved.
- Automotive industry knowledge.
- Dynamic, energetic, passion leader, who can inspire others.
- Extremely organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks at the same time.
- Knowledge of planning tools and ERP systems (SAP preferred).
- Excellent communication, leadership, and strategic thinking abilities.
- Computer proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Travel to Mexico (1 – 2 times per year)
