As a Global Category Buyer
, your mission is to develop and implement a procurement strategy for assigned commodities, ensuring availability, cost efficiency, and supply chain resilience across the General Vacuum Divisions. You will report to the Global Commodity Manager VTS
.

• Lead sourcing and procurement projects, including stakeholder presentations
• Build and maintain strong supplier partnerships and conduct regular negotiations
• Drive continuous improvement in cost and supply chain performance
• Collaborate with other divisions to optimize negotiation outcomes
• Achieve financial procurement targets and analyze purchasing data in SAP
• Align strategies with divisional goals for sustainability and availability

• You have 3+ years of experience in strategic purchasing or project management in a manufacturing environment
• A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain or equivalent experience
• Strong communication and negotiation skills with a partnership-oriented mindset
• Ability to work independently with solid time management and entrepreneurial thinking
• Quick comprehension in complex situations and high motivation to grow
• Business proficiency in English;
  German is a plus
• Solid knowledge of SAP

This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing you to split your time between working remotely and being on-site (where VTS has a Hub).
