Turning data into decisive business impact. In your role as Business Intelligence Specialist in Group Sales, you transform data into a powerful steering instrument. You ensure that sales and pricing data is not only reliable and efficiently available, but also meaningful, transparent and decision‑relevant. With strong analytical insights, modern business intelligence solutions and a holistic perspective, you support Group Sales in steering growth across countries, sales channels and organizational units.
Key Responsibilities- Develop a clear end‑to‑end vision for sales process steering in a data‑driven way, including responsibility for stable ETL processes and efficient data provisioning.
- Work with modern BI and data platforms such as SAP Datasphere, Salesforce CRM Analytics, SAP Analytics Cloud, Databricks and Collibra and ideally bring hands‑on experience with one or more of these or comparable tools.
- Connect data from Sales, Finance, Supply Chain and Product Management and make complex interdependencies transparent and actionable, together with cross‑functional teams.
- Actively drive harmonised data models, KPIs, data standards and governance structures within the sales and pricing environment.
- Apply and continuously develop analytical approaches and methods for sales and pricing steering, providing Group Sales, Pricing, local organisations and senior management with a reliable and robust basis for decision‑making.
- Successfully completed a degree in Data Science, Business Administration, Economics or a comparable field with a strong analytical focus.
- Solid professional experience in a business intelligence or analyst role; trusted contact for data‑driven business questions.
- Very good knowledge of modern BI tools, data modelling and analytical methods, combined with strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
- Experience in a sales, pricing or group‑wide steering environment is a plus, enabling quick understanding of complex business contexts.
- Structured and independent way of working, reliability, and ability to communicate complex topics clearly, navigating confidently within stakeholder environments involving BI and IT development teams.
- Fluent in English and able to collaborate confidently in an international Group Sales environment.
