Job Description About the role

A specialist enterprise financial services advisory firm is seeking an Associate Consultant — Financial Services to contribute to strategic transformations, AI & data analytics, and cybersecurity initiatives that help shape the future of financial services.

Key responsibilities
* Drive impact:
Collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders across levels and geographies to solve complex problems and deliver measurable change. Conduct research, stakeholder interviews, and data analysis to inform assessments and design solutions for engagements such as IT integrations, organizational redesigns, and strategic transformation programs.
* Manage project work streams:
Identify and gather relevant information, perform quantitative and qualitative analysis, and synthesize findings into clear recommendations and deliverables for project teams and clients.
* Accelerate responsibility and growth:
Apply and expand analytical, interpersonal, creative, technical, and business management skills from day one, taking on increasing ownership of project work and internal initiatives.
* Support business development:
Contribute to proposal writing, sales materials, and external communications, and support client events and outreach.
* Continuous learning:
Learn from experienced consultants across technology and financial services and participate in structured development activities.

Candidate profile

* Education:

Excellent degree in an analytical discipline (for example, computer science, information systems, mathematics, physics, finance, or economics) from a reputable institution, or equivalent demonstrated achievements.

* Experience:

Up to one year of full-time professional experience in a fast-paced environment such as a high-growth startup, strategy consulting, investment banking, or venture-backed company is preferred.

* Languages:

Fluency in English and German required; additional languages are an advantage.
* Mindset:
Entrepreneurial, proactive, and comfortable taking ownership and driving initiatives.
* Analytical capability:
Strong quantitative and problem-structuring skills, with the ability to use data to inform recommendations and optimize processes.
* Communication:
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build productive relationships with internal teams and external partners.
