To support our Group Sustainability department, we are looking for an intern (f/m/d) for a period of approximately six months at our headquarters in Melsungen starting in August 2026.
Sustainability is firmly embedded in our Group strategy as a corporate value. The Group Sustainability department is assigned to the Group Strategy function, enabling us to link sustainability goals with the company’s strategic framework. The department monitors compliance with sustainability-related requirements and manages the global sustainability network of country coordinators and subject matter experts.
During the internship, you will work on tasks and projects related to the sustainability strategy and its communication and gain practical experience in sustainability management and reporting.
Your tasks- Support implementing new reporting requirements based on the EU’s non-financial reporting guidelines (e.g. CSRD)
- Conduct research and benchmark analyses
- Support calculation of Scope 3 categories, evaluation of emission factors and design of dashboards
- Prepare decision‑making documents for management and various stakeholders
- Support community management for the international sustainability network by coordinating recurring virtual meetings and engagement activities
- Maintain internal sustainability communication channels, including intranet pages and SharePoint environments
- Support coordinating group‑wide customer inquiries on sustainability through cross‑functional collaboration
- Support in the Project Management Office with organizational and administrative tasks, day‑to‑day business and project work
- Support organizing meetings and workshops
- Advanced studies in Sustainability Management, Environmental Management, Business Administration, Economics or a related field
- Strong English communication skills (written and spoken);
German skills are beneficial - Strong MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint) and SharePoint skills
- Positive attitude and motivation to drive sustainability
- Proactive, structured and goal‑oriented, with the ability to maintain overview even when dealing with complex topics
- Analytical thinking, strong comprehension skills and a sense of responsibility
- Team player with excellent communication skills, creativity and organizational skills
- Confidence in handling and analyzing data
