Overview

Starting Pay: $19.43
Responsibilities- Under the direction of the Facility Operations Supervisor, the Assistant Facility Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of recreation facilities, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction, and supporting various activities and programs. This role requires strong independent judgment and initiative.
- Support the Full-Time Manager on Duty with daily operational tasks, including cash reconciliation, room configuration changes, and responding to management-on-duty calls.
- Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints effectively, both in person and over the phone.
- Develop proficiency in Rec Trac software through provided training.
- Prepare event spaces for meetings, classes, programs, and reservations, which includes the physical setup and breakdown of tables and chairs.
- Proactively anticipate and address guest needs, resolving problems and complaints calmly and efficiently.
- Work non-traditional hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by facility operations.
- Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the facility during reservations, classes, and programs.
- Exercise initiative and professional judgment in all aspects of duty performance.
- Provide direct assistance to the Facility Operations Supervisor with various administrative and operational tasks.
- Assume responsibility for safety protocols and emergency response during critical situations.
- Undergo comprehensive training in other operational areas to enhance overall facility management capabilities.
- Must be flexible and available to work late evening, weekend, and holiday shifts.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff and the public.
- Demonstrated strong problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Proven ability to work effectively without direct supervision.
