Sales Analyst

Position Summary

Business Analyst in the Purina Sales department, tasked with integrating customer business plans, conducting promotional analysis, leveraging data insights, and developing portfolio recommendations to achieve overall sales, market share and profit objectives.

• Develop 4P Purina portfolio recommendations to drive growth within the assigned business unit.
• Provide business overview and analysis to customer teams on progress against market and Joint Business Planning (JBP) objectives.
• Deliver clear, compelling storytelling for customer and senior stakeholders.
• Assess competitive market activity and provide analytics around risks and opportunities to the Purina portfolio.
• Partner with Finance to deliver promotional recommendations on the Purina portfolio to maximize market impact.
• Provide data and recommendations around 4P strategy for new distribution (shelf recommendation, promotion strategy, pricing) using market data.
• Provide insights and analytics to support JBP development objectives and initiatives.
• Attend monthly retail team meetings to provide business updates, opportunities, or promotional/product mix improvements and key quarter priorities.
• Provide ad‑hoc reporting and communication for retail initiatives.

• Bachelor’s degree with at least 1 year of experience working with retail/sales data or within a CPG environment, OR High School diploma with at least 4 years of experience in category development, sales, or marketing analytics.
• Must be able to travel up to 15% or as business needs require.
• Previous experience working with large retailers such as Kroger, Target, or Walmart preferred.
• Previous experience with Nielsen/IRI/Power BI, or RSI syndicated data preferred.

The approximate pay range for this position is $72,000 to $90,000. Nestlé offers performance‑based incentives and a competitive total rewards package, which includes a 401(k) with company match, healthcare coverage and a broad range of other benefits.
