Job Description

As a (Senior) Customs Manager (m/f/d) you will coordinate and support the legally compliant execution of operational customs activities (imports, exports, and special customs procedures) across the EMEA region. You will ensure customs compliance and contribute to risk management, compliance, and value‑creation initiatives.

Your Responsibilities:

Technical Leadership:

• Provide functional support to EMEA Customs Coordinators in the local country organizations
• Facilitate best‑practice sharing and conduct workshops
• Train and coordinate the EMEA customs community

Compliance &

Risk Management:

• Monitor changes in customs and international trade regulations and implement appropriate measures
• Support Customs CMS/ICS reporting cycles
• Plan and conduct Customs Health Checks

Strategy & Value Creation:

• Proactively identify improvement opportunities and develop business cases
• Participate in and lead projects

Operational Excellence:

• Implement new authorizations, processes, and IT solutions
• Functionally manage customs operations (import, export, transit, and special customs procedures)

Audit Support:

• Support external customs audits and act as the audit coordinator for customs‑related reviews and inspections
