GENERAL
PURPOSE:
The Benefits System Coordinator responsible for nizing and managing client benefits within the benefit administration system. Understanding group benefits programs (group health, dental, vision, short-term and long-term disability, life insurance, el accident plans, etc.).
This position provides excellent customer service and requires outstanding communication skills. The coordinator will continually update and audit the benefit administration system including adding new benefit plans, removing ed plans, sting eligibility uploads, reviewing repancy rts toring overall benefits administration system.

- Understands client benefits plans and vendors to understand the plans and administration of each policy.
- Obtains knowledge of industry trends. Analyze complex fits rmation.

- Serves as a primary system contact for clients and benefit system or.
- Coordinates transfer of data to external contacts for services, premiums and plan administration.
- Coordinates daily fits essing including carrier file feeds. Understand other enrollments, COBRA, terminations, changes, beneficiaries, disability, dent death claims.
- Oversees p benefits database.
- Audits the accuracy and performance of fit nistration system.
- Provides customer service support to internal and external clients. Develop communication tools to enhance understanding of benefits packages.
- Evaluates and ses rnal processes to reduce costs and increase efficiency.
- Documents and tains nistrative procedures for assigned benefits processes.
- Ensures liance with applicable government regulations.

REQUIREMENTS:
Knowledge, ls Ability
- Computer iciency technical aptitude with the ability to use Microsoft products, including PowerPoint and Excel; experience with HRIS and benefits databases.
- Project and team management/leadership skills and experience.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment with associates.
- Effective planning and priority ing. ity manage several complex projects simultaneously while working under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical skills and a thorough knowledge of plan designs.
- Knowledge of fits ract language.
- Knowledge of all pertinent federal and state regulations, filing and compliance requirements, both adopted and pending, affecting employee benefits programs, including the ACA, ERISA, COBRA, FMLA, ADA, Section 125, Medicare, COBRA, and Social Security and DOL requirements.
- Excellent communication and nization ls.
- Requires possession and maintenance of a Life and Health license
- Must have a ent driver’s nse and rable driving record.
- Experience with Employee Navigator or another Benefits Administration system is preferred.
- Bachelor's ee is preferred.
- Previous rance experience is preferred.
