Project Controls Analyst

New River Electrical Corporation is seeking a Project Controls Analyst to support high-voltage utility, substation, and transmission projects. In this role, you will develop and maintain project schedules, track costs, analyze variances, and support forecasting for multiple complex jobs. You will prepare reports and dashboards for project managers and executives, ensuring accurate budgeting, earned value tracking, and risk identification. Working closely with construction, engineering, and finance teams, you'll help drive on-time, on-budget delivery while supporting a strong safety culture and continuous process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Develop, update, and maintain detailed project schedules for utility and substation projects
• Monitor project costs, commitments, and forecasts against approved budgets
• Perform variance, trend, and earned value analysis to identify risks and opportunities
• Prepare regular cost and schedule reports and dashboards for stakeholders
• Support change management, including tracking change orders and budget impacts
• Collaborate with project managers, engineering, construction, and finance teams
• Assist with cash flow projections and resource planning across multiple projects
• Ensure data accuracy within project controls and financial systems
• Support continuous improvement of project controls tools, templates, and processes
• Contribute to a strong safety and accountability culture on all projects
