The Division Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Columbus Grove, OH, responsible for overseeing daily operations, staff, and resources within the division. This role manages production schedules, coordinates projects, and ensures that industrial cleaning and coating services meet quality, safety, and customer standards. The Division Manager leads and develops team members, handles staffing needs, and supports training to maintain efficient workflows and a safe work environment.
Additional responsibilities include monitoring performance metrics, managing budgets, optimizing processes, and collaborating with leadership and customers to address issues and improve service delivery. The position involves regular presence on the production floor, effective communication with cross-functional teams, and timely reporting on operational and financial results.
- Experience in operations or production management in an industrial, manufacturing, or surface finishing environment, with strong skills in scheduling, resource planning, and workflow optimization.
- Background in team leadership and people management, including coaching, performance feedback, and support for a positive, inclusive work culture.
- Knowledge of industrial cleaning, coating, or related processes such as abrasive cleaning, paint and powder coating, and protective applications (or willingness to learn these processes).
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with experience handling operational issues, safety concerns, and quality improvements.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams, customers, and senior leadership.
- Commitment to workplace safety, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement in efficiency and quality.
- Basic proficiency with office and production software tools (e.g., spreadsheets, scheduling systems, reporting tools) and comfort using data to track performance.
- Relevant education or training in operations management, industrial technology, business, or a comparable field; equivalent experience will be considered.
- Ability to work on-site in Columbus Grove, OH, with regular presence on the production floor and flexibility to support operational needs.
