School-Age Childcare Assistant
Healthy Kids Programs is hiring a School-Age Childcare Assistant for our Before and After School Program at Winchester Trail Elementary School in Canal Winchester, OH for the 2026–2027 school year.
Location:
Winchester Trail Elementary School in Canal Winchester, OH
Pay: $14.50 per hour
Schedule:
Follows the school calendar Morning Program: 6:45 AM - 7:45 AM Afternoon Program: 2:45 PM-6:00 PM
Opportunities may be available for morning, afternoon, or both programs.

Position Responsibilities:
- Facilitate hands-on activities following the Healthy Kids Curriculum which includes fitness, STEAM, academic, art, and other group activities as well as homework completion.
- Provide a safe, healthy, and fun environment and acting as a positive role model for children in the program.
- Observe state guidelines, Healthy Kids Extended Day Program policies, and host school policies.
- Support program operations, which may include attendance records, registration, and staffing responsibilities.
Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications:
- 18 years or older and hold a High School Diploma or equivalent required
- 1 year of experience working with kids under 13 preferred
- Required health clearance, including TB screening, in accordance with state regulations.
- Must demonstrate a positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, and reliability.
- Physically able to bend, stretch, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds while actively engaging with children throughout the day.
