About the Role

We're hiring an Asphalt Laborer to perform a variety of manual tasks that support paving operations and ensure smooth, efficient project progress. This is a full‑time, seasonal position. Union membership is required for this role.

What You'll Do

* Perform manual labor tasks such as digging, lifting, carrying, and moving materials

* Prepare job sites by clearing obstacles and addressing potential hazards

* Transport and handle construction materials, tools, and equipment

* Assist with loading and unloading materials from trucks

* Support skilled workers such as Operators and Flaggers

* Maintain a clean and organized construction site

* Properly dispose of debris according to safety and environmental guidelines

* Report safety hazards, incidents, or issues promptly

* Stay alert and aware of active construction site conditions

* Maintain regular in‑person attendance

Physical Requirements

* Work outdoors in all weather conditions

* Stand, walk, bend, stoop, and crouch for extended periods

* Lift up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 100 lbs with assistance

* Tolerate noise, odors, dust, grease, and chemicals like gasoline and diesel

* Willingness to work long hours, including nights and weekends

What You Bring

* High school diploma or equivalent

* Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment

* Experience in asphalt paving operations (required)

* Experience operating screed on an asphalt paver (preferred)

* Valid Class A CDL (preferred)

* Ability to adapt to changing tasks and work effectively as part of a team

* Strong communication skills and a positive, dependable work ethic
