  • Implements sustainable trail construction and renovation, including design layout, alignment verification, drainage control, erosion prevention, and structural elements to achieve sustainable, low-impact trails consistent with best management practices.
  • Assists the Site Construction Manager in project planning and administration, including estimating material and labor needs, reviewing design drawings, preparing job layouts, scheduling work, and coordinating equipment and supply deliveries.

  • Provides technical guidance to ensure that projects meet design intent, construction tolerances, and sustainability standards. Troubleshoots field issues, recommends adjustments, and implements approved changes.
  • Supports procurement and logistics by preparing material take-offs, sourcing specialty components, and coordinating with vendors and the Site Construction Manager on delivery timelines and substitutions.
  • Performs quality assurance and documentation, including daily logs, progress reports, as-built notes, and photographic records to track project status and ensure accurate closeout documentation.
  • Coordinates and collaborates with Planning, Rangers, Guest Experiences and other divisions to minimize disruption to park programs and ensure project consistency with Great Parks’ mission, safety, and accessibility standards.
