Job Summary
The Telecommunications Scoping Construction Manager plays a crucial role in shaping the deployment of telecommunications equipment at designated job sites. As the key decision-maker for all technical aspects, this position ensures that each site is appropriate for deployment. Responsibilities include reviewing construction drawings, installation documents, and customer requirements to identify all necessary work types and work packages. This role is vital for creating and documenting the Scope of Work (SOW) and the Bill of Materials (BOM), which are essential for the site build plan and material procurement.
The SOW is crafted through site walks, desktop reviews, aerial imagery analysis, and customer collaboration.

- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience (2-5 years) in the industry
- Experience managing cell site construction and technology upgrades
- Background in site design solutions and order of operations
- Ability to review construction documents for site feasibility and design consulting
- Familiarity with construction processes and on‑site safety requirements
- Keen knowledge of cell site construction and equipment installation
- Understanding of rigging and crane requirements
- Experience in scope estimation, managing general contractors, and generating BOMs
- Knowledge of and ability to enforce industry/customer quality standards
- Basic troubleshooting knowledge, including sweep testing concepts
- Familiarity with contracts (leasing and vendor‑facing)
- Strong problem‑solving skills to meet deadlines and budgets
- Ability to communicate effectively across various professional skill levels
- Commitment to safety standards; OSHA 10‑hour course required; OSHA 30‑hour course if managing crews
- Willingness to learn new tools
- Previous engagement with Cell Site/Wireless equipment portfolio
- Experience handling large‑scale telecom projects
- Advanced Excel or other programming skills
