Overview
The Supervisor is responsible for the day‑to‑day execution, coordination, and quality control of construction projects in the field. This role serves as the primary link between Project Managers, Foremen, subcontractors, and clients, ensuring that work is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with project documents and company standards.
Responsibilities- Oversee daily on‑site construction activities to ensure work is performed according to plans, specifications, and contract requirements
- Develop and maintain project schedules in coordination with the Project Manager and Foremen
- Participate in job meetings
- Conduct regular jobsite walk‑throughs and document progress with daily and weekly jobsite photos
- Review construction documents and ensure crews and subcontractors are building per approved drawings and submittals
- Enforce all company, owner, and regulatory safety requirements on the jobsite
- Manage material deliveries, storage, and usage to prevent shortages or waste
- Oversee equipment usage and ensure daily and monthly equipment checks are completed and documented
- Ensure jobsites remain clean, organized, and properly maintained at all times
- Review and verify employee timecards for accuracy and proper coding
- Assist the Project Manager with change orders, submittals, and documentation as needed
- Monitor job costs, productivity, and manpower to support project profitability
- Maintain required jobsite paperwork, reports, and forms in a timely manner
- Strong knowledge of construction means and methods
- Proven leadership experience managing crews and subcontractors
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Strong communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills
- Commitment to jobsite safety, quality, and accountability
- Ability to work collaboratively with Project Managers and field leadership
