About the Role

The Superintendent will oversee field operations for large-scale construction projects, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and in accordance with quality standards.

This role is well suited for experienced field leaders who excel in fast-paced construction environments and have a strong background in team leadership, coordination, and project execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and direct field personnel assigned to active construction projects
  • Manage daily field operations, scheduling, and workforce coordination
  • Coordinate manpower, materials, tools, equipment, and production activities
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications, applicable codes, and company standards
  • Promote and enforce workplace safety policies and procedures
  • Conduct planning meetings, field reporting, and daily coordination activities
  • Support project productivity, quality assurance, and budget objectives
  • Coordinate with project leadership, subcontractors, vendors, and clients
  • Mentor field supervisors, trades personnel, and emerging leaders
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through planning and prefabrication strategies
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, reporting, and communication records
Preferred Experience & Qualifications
  • Minimum 6+ years of construction experience in commercial, industrial, infrastructure, or mission-critical environments
  • Previous leadership experience in a Superintendent, General Foreman, or similar field leadership role preferred
  • Experience managing large, complex construction projects in fast-paced environments
  • Working knowledge of applicable construction codes, standards, and industry best practices
  • OSHA 30 certification preferred
  • CPR and First Aid certification preferred
  • Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience coordinating large field teams and multiple trades
  • Proficiency with construction management software, reporting systems, and digital documentation tools

Position Requirements
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to pass background screening and drug testing
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Trade certification, apprenticeship completion, or equivalent field experience preferred
  • Previous experience leading large-scale construction projects preferred
Working Conditions

This position requires working in active construction environments and may include:

  • Extended work hours and overtime
  • Exposure to varying weather and jobsite conditions
  • Work at elevated heights or in restricted work spaces
