Overview
- Manage daily on-site construction activities, ensuring safety, quality, and adherence to project schedules.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and owners to maintain smooth project operations.
- Perform carpentry tasks such as installing doors, hardware, and partitions as required.
- Maintain accurate documentation including daily reports, timesheets, safety audits, and project drawings.
- Ensure cost control and quality standards are met throughout project execution.
- Conduct walkthroughs and address punch list items post-project completion.
- Foster a culture of safety excellence by leading through example and promoting best practices.
- Mediate on-site personnel conflicts to achieve mutually beneficial solutions.
- Oversee construction site operations, ensuring adherence to schedules and safety protocols.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met.
- Perform carpentry tasks as needed, including installation of doors and hardware.
- Maintain detailed project documentation, including reports, audits, and drawings.
- Manage project costs, ensuring budget adherence and cost efficiency.
- Conduct post-project walkthroughs and address punch list items.
- Promote a culture of safety and quality excellence on-site.
- Resolve conflicts among on-site personnel to maintain project harmony.
- Minimum of three years' experience as a foreman or superintendent in construction.
- High School Diploma or GED required for eligibility.
- Proficiency in carpentry tasks, including door and hardware installation.
- Strong organizational skills for maintaining accurate project documentation.
- Effective communication skills to liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to manage project schedules and control costs.
- Commitment to promoting safety and quality standards on-site.
- Capability to mediate conflicts and foster collaboration among personnel.
