Construction Crew Leader

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Construction Crew Leader to oversee and install our landscape construction projects. This role involves leading a team to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest client satisfaction. • Lead and supervise a professional landscape construction crew in the field on the installation of patios, fire pits, retaining walls, and various other landscape projects.
• Operate construction equipment safely and efficiently.
• Understand and implement agreements and landscape drawings.
• Utilize a smart device for phone, email, photos, jobsite navigation, and time tracking.

• At least 18 years old.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience on a professional landscape construction crew or at least 1-year experience with JFD.
• Ability to operate construction equipment, including skid steer loader and mini excavator.
• Physically able to handle the workload of a construction team member, including lifting 50 pounds without assistance and pushing a loaded wheelbarrow.
• Valid Ohio Driver’s License and insurability by JFD’s insurance company to drive JFD vehicles.
• Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
• Understanding of proper pruning techniques and common plant material.

The salary range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hour and up, based on experience.
