Divine Safety is seeking an experienced Site Safety Professional to join our team on a major construction project in Jeffersonville, Ohio
. This is a full‑time contract opportunity for a motivated safety professional who enjoys working in fast‑paced industrial construction environments and wants to make a meaningful impact on project safety performance.

The successful candidate will serve as the on‑site safety representative, working alongside project management, contractors, and craft personnel to ensure safe work practices, regulatory compliance, and a proactive safety culture. This position requires an individual who is confident communicating with field personnel, capable of identifying hazards before incidents occur, and committed to helping crews complete their work safely and efficiently.

• Hourly Wage: $40.00–$50.00 per hour
  , based on experience, certifications, and project qualifications.
• Per Diem: $4,000 per month (for eligible employees working away from their home area).

• Serve as the on‑site safety representative for Divine Safety.
• Conduct daily jobsite safety inspections and field observations.
• Monitor compliance with OSHA regulations, client requirements, and project‑specific safety plans.
• Review and support Pre‑Task Plans (PTPs), Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), and Activity Hazard Analyses (AHAs).
• Perform routine audits of fall protection, excavation, scaffolding, crane operations, lockout/tagout, confined space, hot work, electrical safety, and mobile equipment activities.
• Provide real‑time coaching and mentorship to supervisors and craft personnel.
• Lead toolbox talks, safety orientations, and daily safety meetings.
• Assist with incident, near‑miss, and property damage investigations, including root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate safety documentation, reports, inspection records, and project metrics.
• Participate in client meetings and communicate professionally with project management, contractors, and owner representatives.
• Promote a positive, solutions‑oriented safety culture that emphasizes collaboration rather than enforcement alone.

• Minimum 3 years of construction or industrial safety experience.
• Strong working knowledge of OSHA Construction Standards (29 CFR 1926).
• Experience on industrial, commercial, manufacturing, data center, power generation, semiconductor, automotive, or heavy construction projects preferred.
• OSHA 30 Construction required.
• OSHA 510, CHST, CSP, ASP, STS‑C, or equivalent certifications are highly preferred.
• Current First Aider/CPR/AED certification preferred.
• Experience conducting incident investigations and developing corrective actions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently while representing Divine Safety professionally.
