We are looking for experienced Health & Safety Managers to work in either Munich, Frankfurt, or Switzerland on large-scale projects within the pharmaceutical, data centre, or battery manufacturing sectors. Location and Working PatternOptions available in Munich, Frankfurt, or Switzerland. On-site role within major construction projects.
Client OverviewOur client is a major player in the construction sector, delivering technically challenging projects across a range of sectors. They operate with a strong focus on quality, safety, and innovation to ensure projects are delivered successfully.
Responsibilities- Provide exceptional leadership on site for all health and safety initiatives
- Manage and mentor a team of on-site H&S Managers
- Serve as the primary liaison for H&S matters with client representatives
- Ensure compliance with company standards, policies and relevant legislation
- Oversee inspections, risk assessments, and workplace health checks
- Investigate incidents and disseminate learnings across teams
- Monitor and report on H&S performance for the site
- Deliver training and coaching to staff on H&S best practices
- Professional fluency in German and English
- EU passport holder or German national
- Prior H&S experience within construction environments
- At least 12 years’ experience, with significant time in H&S roles
- Membership or certification such as CMIOSH / NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Good IT proficiency
- Experience in pharma, data centre, or battery manufacturing projects
- Additional qualifications in engineering or construction management
- Knowledge of lifting operations and relevant industry standards
- Exposure to behavioural safety, occupational health or BIM methodologies
