The Lucas County Engineer’s Office is hiring for an Ohio based Civil Engineer with construction experience in engineering plan preparation and specification development for our office located in Holland, Ohio. The ideal candidate will be an experienced, self-motivated Professional Engineer with a strong technical background, preferably with supervisory experience and experience in budgeting and finance of public infrastructure improvement projects.
Under general direction of the Construction Engineer, the Deputy Construction Engineer performs and/or assists in design/plan preparation; plan review; construction review/field inspection; personnel/management functions; private/public construction activities; and/or related work as required. This position assists/leads a project team which includes one or more of the following:
Construction Project Manager, Project Inspectors, and/or Student Interns.
