Graphics Prepress Specialist

Mennonite Central Committee (MCC), a dedicated global nonprofit organization, is looking for a Graphics Prepress Specialist to join our team. This role is crucial in supporting our mission of delivering compelling printed materials that reflect our commitment to relief, development, and peace initiatives worldwide. As a specialist, you'll be responsible for the creation and preparation of graphic files to ensure they meet print specifications featuring high quality and accuracy standards to effectively communicate our vision and mission.

Responsibilities

• Review and prepare artwork and graphic designs for printing, ensuring alignment with print specifications
• Adjust color, font, size, and layout to produce the best visual effect
• Collaborate with designers and communications team to discuss and determine layout design
• Perform quality control on final products to ensure conformance to MCC's standards and print specifications
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of new design and production software and technologies
• Manage deadlines and prioritize projects to ensure timely delivery of materials

Required Skills

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator, Photoshop, and In
• Design
• Strong attention to detail and an eye for visual composition
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong understanding of color theory, typography, and graphic design principles
