Location note:
This position is 100% in office. The employee will work full time in an office in a designated Wes Banco location. Consideration for location will be Cambridge Banking Center home base and floating to Flushing and Barnesville Banking Centers
.
- Helps foster a positive work environment that inspires, motivates, challenges, supports and provides ongoing recognition for exceptional performance.
- Provide excellent customer service while identifying sales opportunities and performing account transactions.
- Be responsive by recognizing the immediate need of the Banking Center throughout the day and proactively providing CSR and sales platform support as needed.
- Responsible for consumer and business relationship building efforts and focus on promotion of Bank's products and services.
- Operate as a CSR, open new deposit accounts, and connect with customers to determine needs and make recommendations and referrals for products and services to internal and external partners as applicable.
- Spend time initiating outbound telephone calls focused on proper customer onboarding, prospecting new Retail customers, and promoting bank products for new and existing Retail banking relationships.
- May participate in community service opportunities in the specific community or market.

- Personally models the standards of the Bank's Mission, Vision, and Pledge.
- Initiate conversations to assess the financial needs of Banking Center customers and refer customers to business partners for promotion of bank products and services.
- Accepts and accurately processes all financial service transactions.
- Open new deposit accounts and operate a cash drawer, follow balancing and cash handling procedures, and uncover opportunities for products and services with referrals.
- Complies with security and audit procedures.
- Achieve production and referral goals through relationship development, customer consultations, outbound calls, referrals, and onboarding calls to acquire new relationships or expand existing ones.
- Communicate and partner with branch staff and peers to promote a team environment and meet goals.
- Set priorities by monitoring performance against banking center goals and adjust activities accordingly.
- Execute outbound calling activities inside the banking center, promote bank products, and make referrals as defined by location goals.
- Educate bank team on opportunities to advance customers’ financial wellness.
- Support day-to-day operations including customer service, opening/closing procedures, vault duties, cash control, inventory, and compliance requirements.
- Actively participate in regular staff meetings.
- Provide service to customers and prospects on banking matters and resolve problems professionally.
- Build relationships with internal partners and seek constructive peer feedback when appropriate.
- Demonstrate sound judgment and follow established guidelines while using available resources.
- Maintain security controls to protect against risks and fraud; keep sensitive information confidential.
- Contribute to a team environment to service customer needs, including answering inbound calls and other duties to support Banking Center success.
- Banking is a highly regulated industry; proficiency in bank policies and procedures and timely completion of compliance training is required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook 365; ability to learn various Banking Software programs.
- Strong consumer lending skills preferred with understanding of consumer lending products.
- Ability to generate new financial relationships through outbound calling and internal business development.
- Ability to interact effectively with customers, clearly express concepts verbally and in writing.
- Strong product knowledge for selling; excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills.
- Sound mathematical and analytical skills preferred.
- Ability to solve practical problems and interpret various instructions provided in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
