Position Overview
The City of Miamisburg is accepting applications for the Mound Golf Course Clubhouse Team Member for the Parks and Recreation Department. The Clubhouse Team Member reports to the Mound Golf Course Manager and plays an integral role in the fulfillment of Miamisburg Parks & Recreation’s mission and vision.
Key Responsibilities• Administer admission to the golf course
• Execute the food service operation, including cash handling, customer service, order taking, and food preparation
• Manage tee sheet operations
Base Pay $12.00 – $16.00 per hour, DOE.
RequirementsThe Mound Golf Course Clubhouse Team Member will be thoroughly committed to Miamisburg Recreation and Parks mission. All candidates should have experience working in a customer‑oriented setting, be able to execute computer programs, and thrive in a teamwork environment. A passion for recreation and service to one’s community is expected.
- Must be 18 years old or older
- High school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.)
- At least one year’s experience in a customer service role preferred
- Must be available evenings and weekend hours
- Awareness of applicable state, federal, and local ordinances, laws, rules, and regulations
- Plan and execute department activities and services
- Knowledge of all computer applications and hardware related to job performance
- Action‑oriented, adaptable, and innovative approach to departmental activities and services
- Organize work, set priorities, meet critical deadlines, and follow up on assignments
- Problem‑solve and communicate needs and changes effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Organize work and manage time effectively
- Relationships‑driven approach and ability to collaborate with team members and volunteers
- Ability to multi‑task and plan department activities and services
- Excitement to support an organization that offers high‑quality programs, events, and services
- Willingness to accept and give constructive feedback to improve performance
- Ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people
Must maintain certifications and licensure as a condition of employment.
A combination of education, experience, and training may be applied in accordance with the City of Miamisburg policy.
