Position: EQUIPMENT FACILITIES AND SERVICES ASSISTANT with Security Clearance
Location: Wright-Patterson AFB

Duties
* Represents A4C customer service as member of the Distinguished Visitor (DV) and conference support team. Executes taskings per DV and conference support work orders, providing leadership and oversight, and working with service providers, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and Leadership to ensure DV visits and conference support facility readiness by executing a readiness checklists and work schedules.
* Escorts visitor personnel in accordance with established guidelines. This includes both the collateral and Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) areas.
* Will serve as A4C Classified Destruction operations witnessing official ensuring classified waste materials are destroyed in accordance with security policies, procedures, and standards.
* Performs administrative duties such as answering telephones, receiving visitors, and referring callers to appropriate staff members for specific information to operationally implementing facility management security policies and procedures. Requirements Conditions of employment

* All new DCIPS employees are required to complete a two-year DCIPS trial period.

* Employee may be required to work other than normal duty hours, to include evenings, weekends and/or holidays.
* Shift work and emergency overtime may be required.

* Depending on the type of position (competitive/excepted) you are selected for, you will be required to serve a 1-year probationary period OR 2-year trial period.

* The employee may be required to travel in military and/or commercial aircraft to perform temporary duty assignments.
* Work may require travel to attend meetings, design conferences, staff assistance visits, and training. The work may require the employee to drive a motor vehicle. Must be able to obtain and maintain an appropriate valid driver's license. Qualifications This is a GG-05 position in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). The GG-05 duties for the "Technician / Administrative Support" work category are at the "Entry/Developmental" work level and are equivalent to those at the GG-05 level.

The selectee's salary will be set within the grade equivalent to a GS/GG grade based on the selectee's qualifications in relation to the job. In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Clerical and Administrative Support Positions. EXPERIENCE

REQUIRED:

Your resume must reflect the quality level of experience which demonstrates the possession of the knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for successful job performance required for this position. Examples of creditable experience include: knowledge of basic or commonly used rules, procedures, or operations that typically require some previous training or experience; or basic skills to operate equipment requiring some previous training or experience, such as keyboard equipment or reproduction equipment.

The employee uses basic knowledge and previous training and experience to support facility readiness by executing work schedules and checklists, serving as POC for service calls, entering data into tracking systems, and generally assisting in facility management needs.

Note:

Creditable experience may include previous military experience, experience gained in the private sector, or experience gained in another government agency. OR

4 years above high school OR COMBINATION OF EXPERIENCE AND

A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%.

Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:
* Knowledge of a wide range of Civil Engineering disciplines, shop functions, capabilities, and workflow processes, as well as established operating instructions, directives, and policies related to the processing of work requests for facility maintenance.
