Our practice focuses on delivering high-quality, dental care in a welcoming and professional environment. Team members work closely together to support preventive, restorative, and cosmetic dental services. Our office emphasizes clear communication, respect, and comfort for every patient.

Role Description This is a part-time (Mon. Tues. & Thurs-8 AM-5 PM), on-site Dental Assistant.

Our ideal candidate will provide the dentist during examinations and procedures, including treatment rooms, arranging instruments, and assisting chairside. Responsibilities include taking and processing dental radiographs, updating patient records, and reviewing medical histories as directed. The role involves sterilizing and organizing instruments, maintaining infection control standards, and ensuring that equipment and operatories are clean and ready for use. The Dental Assistant will also help with patient education on oral hygiene and provide post-treatment instructions.

Qualifications

  • Strong foundational skills in Dental Assisting during procedures.
  • Knowledge of Open Dental software
  • Understanding of Dentistry concepts, common procedures, and dental terminology.
  • Proficiency in Sterilization protocols and infection control to maintain a safe clinical environment.
  • Current dental assistant certification and/or EFDA certification as well as an up to date radiography certification.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-focused and respectful approach.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions, manage time effectively, and work collaboratively with clinical and front-office staff.
  • Passionate about continues learning and having fun while at work.
