- Work directly with the Prosthodontist to assist in advanced dental procedures, particularly dental implant treatments
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment, ensuring strict infection control standards
- Provide chair‑side assistance during procedures, anticipate the dentist’s needs, and keep the treatment area clear and organized
- Make patients feel comfortable and informed throughout their visit
- Take dental x‑rays, process radiographs, and assist with radiographic imaging
- Prepare materials for impressions and restorations
- Educate patients on post‑operative care and general oral hygiene
- Support the prosthetic team with inventory management, lab coordination, and record‑keeping
- Perform office tasks as needed, such as scheduling appointments, receiving patients, maintaining records, and ordering supplies
- Collaborate with other clinical staff, including oral surgeons, hygienists, and Patient Education Consultants to ensure exceptional care
- Assist in specialized areas such as oral surgery, periodontics, and prosthodontics
- Valid certifications that meet applicable state requirements
- 2+ years of previous experience in a dental assisting role
- Prior experience with dental implants or prosthodontics is highly desirable
- Strong manual dexterity and ability to handle dental instruments with precision
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and thrive in a fast‑paced environment
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
- Comfortable with radiographic equipment and digital dental technology
