- Monday: 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM
- Tuesday: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
- Wednesday: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Potential for full-time hours if interested in working every other Sunday (10:00 AM - 5:00 PM)
Responsibilities- Welcome patients and get them situated in the appropriate treatment room.
- Assist the doctor in providing care to the patient.
- Be knowledgeable of existing and emerging technologies and clinical initiatives that impact the back-office experience.
- Actively monitor lab materials and supplies.
- Develop a relationship with the patient.
- Follow all OSHA/HIPAA guidelines.
- Clean and sterilize instruments and prepare treatment rooms as needed.
- Take, expose, and mount high quality dental radiographs.
- Contribute to the team in achieving business objectives to accomplish goals.
- Maintain a safe and secure environment for patients and team.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience working as an EFDA
- High school diploma or GED.
- Other certifications as required by the state, as an example:
Radiology Certification, CPR, Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) or Registered Dental Assistant in Extended Functions (RDAEF), etc.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Dental Softwares as Dentrix, Eaglesoft or similar dental softwares, is preferred.
