Full-Time Portable Dental Assistant

Mid America Health is currently seeking a Full Time Dental Assistant to join our growing School Smiles team! This position is 5 days per week (Monday - Friday, during school hours) based out of the Columbus, OH area (2-hour radius) and is a rewarding opportunity providing portable dental services to children at local schools. This opportunity would be a great fit for a Dental Assistant interested in a low-stress environment in a non-private practice setting.

This position will be a fall start with an August start date.

• Hourly rate $27.00 hours for clinic hours worked and drive time
• No weekend hours
• Full benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k), generous paid time off, paid holidays, flex spending, and a health savings account
• Company vehicle provided, with gas and maintenance card
• Active Ohio X-ray License required

• Maintain portable equipment and supplies, and maintain company van, all of which remain in your possession at all times
• Assist dentist in portable operatory setup inside the school with chairside procedures as needed
• Load/unload and set up dental operatory inside school
• Perform various administrative duties

• Active Ohio X-ray License is a must
• Current CPR for Healthcare Providers required
• 1-year Dental Assistant experience preferred
• Willingness to travel within a 2-hour radius
