Location: Westerville
Oral Health Center is looking for a dependable, caring, and motivated Dental Assistant to join our growing dental team.
We are seeking someone who is professional, punctual, friendly with patients, and eager to support high-quality dental care in a positive office environment.

ResponsibilitiesThe Dental Assistant will assist the dentist during clinical treatment and help ensure smooth patient flow throughout the day.
Duties- Greeting and seating patients in a warm and professional manner
- Preparing treatment rooms before appointments
- Assisting the dentist during procedures
- Taking and reviewing patient health histories according to office protocol
- Charting treatment and ensuring accurate clinical notes
- Taking dental radiographs, if certified and permitted by Ohio requirements
- Mixing dental materials and preparing instruments
- Providing patient instructions before and after treatment
- Sterilizing instruments and disinfecting treatment rooms according to OSHA guidelines
- Keeping operatories clean, stocked, and organized
- Tracking lab cases, referrals, and patient records as needed
- Monitoring inventory and restocking supplies
- Helping in other areas of the office when needed, including phones, scheduling support, and patient flow
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Dental assisting experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate
- Completion of a dental assisting program is a plus
- Radiology certification preferred
- Knowledge of dental instruments, procedures, sterilization, and infection control preferred
- Computer skills required; dental software experience is a plus
- Must be professional, reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Strong communication skills and a caring attitude toward patients
- Willingness to learn and grow with the practice
- Enjoys working with patients
- Has a positive attitude
- Can stay organized in a busy dental office
- Works well with dentists and team members
- Takes pride in cleanliness, accuracy, and patient comfort
- Is dependable and committed to excellent patient care
